On Wednesday we went fishing in two tournaments - the New Zealand Sports fishing nationals, and the Tristram Marine Open Tournament.

We went fishing for snapper and trevally. We caught 3 small trivially, that we used for bait. After an hour we went to deeper water and put out the lures. After about twenty minutes one rod finally went off and after a few minutes the fish finally came in and it was a skippy. After we kept going and then I got hooked up with a King fish and when I brang it in it was to small so we let it go. After a while we decided to head back to way my skippy and it way 4.68 KG's and it was a NZ record on the line wait!
