Inquiry Reflection

Summer and I ran a workshop about Memories. For memories, we made memory cards with animal pictures. When we started playing we realized that made differed sized ones so it was easy to find the pairs. For the winners of the game we gave them chocolate fish but we ended out giving everyone chocolate fish.

 

Goals And Dreams

My goals and dreams for next term are...

• Winning overall champion at my farm calf club

Why? Because I have never one overall at calf club before and it is my last year to be able to win!

• Winning the art award at prize giving

Why? because I have been putting so much effort into my art this year and ever since I was little I wanted to win the art award.

• Winning the futurity class with my shorthorn Fluer 

Why? Because I always seem to get second place with her and for first prize, you win $2000 dollars! 

• To have a great last term

It is really important to me to finish off my year and primary school being happy and leaving school proud and having lots of good memories to remember forever!

Weekly Refletion

I have had done lots of different stuff this week. I have had my netball game versing the teachers and I

have been continuing my rock painting for the play center. Something that I have enjoyed has been doing my calf for calf club because she has finally become friendly and her coat is looking so nice! Something that I have found hard this week has been the netball game versing the teachers because they were a lot harder than the teams I versed in the netball club I'm in. Something that I am looking forward to next week is on Monday I am going out to the milking shed to catch Fleur (my in milk Milking Shorthorn) because we are getting ready for when the judge is coming out to judge her and my other Shorthorns. 

Would You Rather?

Would you rather be able to control the weather or have the ability to
talk to animals?

For me, I would rather talk to animals because it would be really easy to train my calves
and I would love to know what pets are saying.

Would you rather be a master at painting or an amazing dancer?
For me I love painting but I would love to be an amazing dancer because it would be

such a cool talent.

Would you rather speak every language or play every instrument?

I would rather speak every language because I already know how to play two instruments
and if I were to go to a country that doesn't speak the language I speak it would make it
way easier to talk to people knowing every language.

Would you rather live in the sky or under the sea?

I would rather live in the sea because it would be so cool to be able to 

live with all the fish and you would never have to worry about being hot.
Would you rather have a pet panda bear or a pet zebra?

I would rather have a pet panda because they are way cuter and they have such
fluffy coats.

Would you rather be the fastest person in the world or can freeze time?
I would rather be the fastest person in the world because it would be easy to win running races andI would be able to go to the Olympics and get a gold medal.

Would you rather be trapped in a room with a friendly tiger or with 10
bumblebees?

I would rather be trapped in a room with a friendly tiger because it is friendly and
bumblebees could sting you.


Would you rather be really fast or really strong?
I would rather be really fast because it would be good for sports.

My Dream Business

Laurendale Milking Shorthorns

My future business is going to be owning my own farm called Laurendale Milking Shorthorns. It will be New Zealand's biggest Milking Shorthorn farm with a total of 1600 shorthorns. There will be 850 cows, 350 yearlings, 350 calves, and 50 bulls. I will have 3 farms. One farm will have them in milk cows and calves that get feed milk, the second farm will have the yealings and the third farm will have all the bulls and the empty cows. I will have about 7 workers on the farm and they will all be renting out one of the houses I will own. My farm will be known as one of the tidiest farms in New Zealand and instead of having electric fences it will have tidy Black posts.

The reason will have this business is because my Popa used to own a farm when my mum was a kid called Laurendale Milking Shorthorns and he sold all his cows when he decided to retire. Ever since I bought my first shorthorn in 2016 I have reopened the stud name Laurendale Milking Shorthorns. At the moment I own four shorthorns. When I finish University I am planning to buy my own farm and start my dream business up.
