Skyline

Last Friday my Mum got rang up from Summers mum asking If I wanted to go to Skyline with Summer the next day.  As soon as Mum told me the news I ran to my room to get my stuff ready.

I made sure to get all my money so I could by heaps of things to remind me that I went to skyline with Summer.

When Summer finally arrived to pick me up I started filling up with excitement because all I was thinking is tomorrow I am going to skyline with Summer. When we got to her house we watched Britons Got Talent on TV and ate some cookies and then we went to be.

The next morning we woke up at 6:30 so we could get ready to leave a bit before 8:00.

When we headed down there me and summer were talking about going on the sky swing because we had been talking about it ever since my birthday last year.

When we choose our ticket, Summer and I ended out getting the combo of 5 luge each and one ride on the big swing each. After we ordered our ticked we jumped onto the gondoliers to head up to the sky swing and the luges.  As soon as we got to the top we saw that there were people going on the sky sing, so since we bought a ticket to go on it we desired to watch them so we would know what to do at the end.

When they finished that ride we desired to do the sky swing to the end since we wanted to finish our day with facing our fair.

When we got to the luges we desired to do the scenic ride twice so we could get the hang of how to control the cart. The next one we did was the Inermedeit one to get us ready for advanced. When we did the advanced one I desired to go to the highest sped and I didn't realize that a dip was coming up so when I hit that point I went flying! Luckily I landed it and so since I had so much fun I desired to use my last luge ticket on the advanced track.

As soon as I finished that ride my stomach started hurting because I realized that it was our turn to go on the SKY SWING! When we went to hand our tickets in Summer realized that she left her ticket in the toilets! So we ran down to get her ticket and in our luck it was still there.

Then was our turn. We had to go on the sky swing! When we walked up those stairs I thought I was going to spew! Then we had to go on the seats. When we got on the lady put like 1 million straps on us (well in that time it felt like it). Then we started to go up, I started freaking out. I repeated saying
"Summer, Summer, Summer, Summer"
And then I realized there was a Go-pro going so I told Summer.
Then when we got to the top I said to Summer,
"I got to poo"
Then I heard a huge click. It meant we were at the top.

And the worst thing was, I HAD TO PULL THE ROPE!!!
I was not ready, then I herd the lady shout,
"PULL THE ROPE"
So I did...

We started screaming! We were going 150 km per 2 seconds!
It was so scary!

when we got of it we go given a sticker that said I survived the Sky Swing. Then we got shown the video of the go-pro. We desired to buy it so we can watch it when every we like.

I had I really fun time at skyline and I am so glad I went on the sky swing!

DON'T GET RID OF ART PLEASE!

Dear Minister of Education I am writing to you to try and persuade you to not drop the subject of Art out of the National Curriculum. Why? Why would you want to get rid of such a awesome thing? If you get rid of it I wouldn't be able to carry on with doing one of my big passions. Here is what you would take away from us art lovers! Painting sketching coloring Zentangale Crafting Art Musems Mona Lisa AND MUCH MORE! The reason why I think it would be such a silly idea to get rid of art is because I have grown up loving art and you can express you dreams and imagination all out of art. If you were to get rid of it what would the author have to put in there books apart from there writing? If you don't agree with me please keep it in mind because if you do get rid of it you will create ignominy from the public. Thanks From Ella Pirie

Weekly Reflection T3 WK4

This week I have achieved a lot of things. I achieved goal of getting all of my Leadership tasks done and I planed out my two workshops for learning in the making.

My most favorite thing I did this week was the leadership posts because when I had finished every post I put a picture to go with what I wrote, so when I was adding the pictures I found all my baby photos and all my photos of my calves and I was amazed at what there coats looked like.

I also really enjoyed my hockey training once again because I feel like I am hitting the ball better and I am getting better at dribbling the ball.

I have had a really fun week this week and I am hoping to have one like this next week so I can finish all my work to a high standered.

How could/do I take the lead...in my family

My family is a busy family since we look after a big farm and my mum goes to meetings allover New Zealand. To make sure I don't make their life is harder is that I do all my jobs and I clean my washing. If they are at meetings  I stay at home I like to spend my whole day cleaning the house so when they come home they don't have to worry about having to clean the house. 

Since my mum has been buying me shorthorns when I compete at shows I like to make sure that mum gets that money back so when I win money I give it back to her. At the moment I have paid her roughly one thousand dollars witch I am really proud about.

Leadership Goal

One of my leadership goals is to a house team leader because I have always thought that would be so cool to be and I would love to do that because it would give me more confidence to add to my being me goal.                                                                                       Another of my leadership goals is to be able to finish all my work to a really high standed so when my mum wants to see how my work is going I can show her with pride.

How Could/ Do I Take Lead With My Friends

The way I take lead with my friends is if someone is feeling left out or feeling down I like to make sure they are alright. I also make sure if they are doing something wrong and they don't realize I would tell them. Another thing I take lead in is if one of my friends forget about there meeting I make sure I tell them so they don't miss out in case it is important.

How Could/ Do I Take The Lead In My Life

The way that I like to lead my life is to always take a smile and a positive attitude were ever I go. I like to make sure that I choose what I wan't to do and not get anyone to force me into something I don't want to do. I have resiliently set a goal for myself to build more confidence by greeting every and when the teachers ask us how our day has goon I make sure I put my hand up, I feel like it is working because when I play netball I have a habit of saying hello to them and I am having more confidence to ask for help..

How Could/ Do I I Take Lead... With My Learning

The way that I can take lead with my learning is to make sure I can get everything done at a high stranded.  I usually sit with independently or one or two of my friend because if I am with to many people I can easterly get detracted and get nothing done. If I am usually done with my learning early I like to do some draw so I can refresh my brain and express my imagination into my drawings.

Aspirations & Dreams

One of my dreams is to be a part of the silver ferns in netball because I have always played netball and this is my 10th and a half year of playing it. If I want to make that dream happen I will have to start now. A way to make me be able to accomplish this dream is to run up and down the hills every night so I can become fitter and I will also have to practice my goals since GS is my mane position.

Another one of my dreams is to be the boss of my farm because I think that would be a cool job. If I were to pick a new manager I would defiantly choose Summer because that would be so fun with her and we would be able to take part of A&P shows together.

One of my last dreams is to be a famous artiest because my nana is such a good artist and she has painted three of the cows in Morrinsville and  I would love to have world wide art that gets showed all around the world and I would make my very own art gallery.

T2 WK3 Weekly Reflection!

This week has been all about leadership and as well of it being bully free week. On Monday we went down to Hamilton to take part of a huge advent called, National Young Leaders Day. We came down there to listen to well known people tell there story's and what life challenges they went through. One of my favorite speakers was Amanda Wilson because she told a very inspirational story about how she and her family grew up living in a tent with only a little amount  of money, and they only got forty dollars a week to take part of a horse show and if they didn't win that money back at a horse show they have to work back to get there  money.

Another thing we did this week that did with leadership was have the deputy head boy and the head girl from HPC come in to talk about how they got to where they are and what it takes to be a leader. We also had constable Catherine come in to talk about the same thing and I liked the saying that she said (Be a banana, don't be a orange) because it means be yourself and don't try to be someone alse.

Another thing I enjoyed this week was playing Netball. I played in GS and GA and I thought I play really well because I got heaps of my goals in and I felt fitter. I was also really happy because I got player of the day.
  
I also really enjoyed my first game of hockey. Since it was my first time playing I got a bit conduced at the start but then I started to get the hang of it. I thought we played very well even though we lost because we were versing a really good team and we all tried our best.

I am really looking forward to next week to learn more about leadership and to play my netball and hockey games to see if I improve.

If Smokey had super powers!

If smokey had five superpowers one of them would be having the power of hypnotizing with her big, yellow adorable eyes and she will stare at you until you follow her commands.


Her second superpower would be the power of flying so she can
fly to school with me and so she can go to the local dairy and buy a bag of temptations.

Her third superpower would be having super strength so she can pick 
up the cat food by herself and put it in her bowl.

Her forth superpower would have the power of speed so she can race me in a game of tag and when she doesn't want to go outside she can use her super speed and run away and hide.

Smokeys last superpower would be the power of invisibility because when she has an accident in the corner of the bathroom she can walk around with no one seeing her so she doesn't have to go outside.

                

Weekly Reflection

This week has been really exciting. I've started my hockey training and played my first games of netball. Aswell of I being exciting, I have also found it a bit confusing. I found it a bit confusing because of our new break. We eat in the classroom for ten minutes while the teacher is reading and as soon as she finishes the chapter we head out and play. Sometimes at the end of the day, my stomach starts rumbling like a thunderstorm. Apart from that, I think I have had a really good week because I have been really organized and I finished all my work on Wednesday. Since I finished all my work I decided to touch up my blog. I think I have a really good week and I am going to try even harder!
