💮Netball💮

On Saturday in the weekend I played Netball. The team that we we played was Maramarua and the position I played was GS(Goal shoot). Holly was GA(Goal Attack and we Both got four goals. The thing that we need to work on for next game is no overhead passing. Next week on Sunday I am going to start to play Rep netball and it will be at the Ngatea netball courts. I can't wait till the next game next week!

For iDrive last week I did Origami.  I made a bird and colored it like a rainbow. The thing that I liked about doing Origami is that I had heaps of things to pick out of.	The thing that i found a bit annoying is that some of the things that I could pick out of were to hard. I also found it hard reading the instructions because some of it didn’t make sense.	What I found Interesting is that how many creations there is that you can just make with paper and also some of the things that i made had something missing but it still ended out looking similar to what it was meant to look like.

Map Maker

On the last week on term 1 I did a Map maker for Book club. For Map maker we have to create a bird's I view of a map that we imagine of what the town or place you think it would look like. The map that I created is what I think the town looks like in the book. I made two Schools, Two super markets, a few houses, a library and a pool. I am very proud of myself because I got it done and it ended out with good comments from my group and teachers. Here is a photo of my map.

Rainbow’s End

Last Tuesday I went to Rainbows End with Summer. When we arrived and got our tickets and rushed down to the first ride and it ended out being the Fear fall. On the way up the Fear fall Summer and I were shaking our legs from the fear of how high we were going up. When we got up to the top we waited for about 30 seconds and then it dropped us. When we got out of the ride I couldn’t get my balance right! All the other rides we went on were the Motion Master, the Invader, the go karts, the roller coaster, the bumper cars, the log flume and the gold rush. I think that day was one of the best-est days of my life

Junior Fishing Tournament

On the second Saturday of the holiday my family and I went fishing in a junior tournament. When we went fishing we saw hundreds of  birds  and dolphins diving. For me it was like watching the Hunt in real life. About an hour later my mum spotted a big splash about a couple hundred meters away so she drove down to where she saw the splash. About 5 minutes after mum saw the big splash we got hooked up with a big fish on the 15kg line. After about 12 minutes the fish finally came in. When it came up to the boat Dad got the gaf out and stabbed it in the mouth. When Dad gaffed the fish the gaf slipped out of his hand so Dad quickly grabbed the gaff from in the water before it was too late. When dad got the fish he realized it was a big skipJack Tuna and he said it was the  biggest SkipJack that we have ever got on our boat. When we got back and weighed it, we found out that it was 7.4 kg, which is a club and New Zealand record. On Sunday night it was the prizegiving for the fishing tournament I won a couple of prizes. One for the Skipjack tuna - I got first, and I got second for my kahawi which weighed 2.386 kg. The fish that won first weighed 2.385 kg, so it was very close. Here are some Photos
