Why We Celebrate Easter

We celebrate Easter because Jesus died on the cross. Easter, which celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead.

Good Friday

Good Friday  is a four day weekend that starts on the 25th March so every school in New Zealand gets a day off for five days.

Why we have chocolate eggs

We have chocolate eggs on Easter so we can give and celebrate a new life, new beginning and hope

Hot cross buns

Hot cross buns are spiced buns with raisins. The reason why the hot cross buns have a cross on the top is because Jesus died on a cross so it is a memory of Jesus.

What we do on Easter

We do not Celebrate Easter but Mum, Celine and I go to the Easter show in Auckland and show our cattle. This year we will be going on Thursday so I can do Young Handlers. There is also a dress up on Thursday and I will dress up as a Easter bunny as well as my calf too.

Saxophone	I got to learn some notes  on my saxophone and they we E, D, C, G and the song that I learnt was Rolling along, but  the real name is, Mary had a little lamb.	I get confused on changing to the note C so it makes my saxophone make a screechy sound.	What I found interesting is that I got stuck on the notes that I found easy.
Swimming time	I really liked going swimming on Thursday because we got to go on the pool toy.	I didn't really like it when some people were just pushing through because they really wanted to go on the pool toy. The other reason is that some of us only got to go on once.	The pool toy that is usually up when I go to the pool is mostly the hardest one that has the rope at the end of it.
Lunch time	At lunch time I played Tiggy Tiggy man hunt. I played it with Elizabeth, Alexa, Ashlee, Marlena, Jackson and I.	It got a bit annoying how people kept on pausing for no good reason.	I played it with some people that I would not usually hang out with.
